The casting systems in Parola and Luraghi S.r.l are studied and analysed with simulation and form filling systems ("Solid @ Flow cast software" for the simulation of casting processes, feeding and detection of any defects that might have occurred during the production cycle).
By using the aforementioned software with the data relating to the production cycle of our foundry, we are able to elaborate the best casting systems by highlighting the position that the artefact to be poured must assume, the position of casting attachments and feeders, the size of the feeders, the casting temperature.
This program visually shows the phase of filling the imprint with liquid metal, clearly colouring the critical areas of the artefact most prone to defects.
A three-dimensional drawing reading system also allows the drawings to be processed in electronic format and in a three-dimensional way.

Drafting of the model
The minimum mould of the model is influenced by several factors, including the material of which it is composed, the surface finish, the shape of the model, the quality of the model, the forming pressure force.
