Sand preparation
For the preparation of "green" forming sands, the company has an automatic plant with automatic control of GREEN SAND sands. The "green" forming sands are prepared in a special plant (Sand Processing Plant) where the various components are automatically introduced in a pan mixer: sands, bentonite, mineral black and water. After each grinding cycle, the forming sands are sent to the forming lines after undergoing the automatic checks of the GREEN SAND analyser, always performed by using conveyor belts. An automatic ploughing and cooling drum in line with the sandblasting department is connected to the sand plant.
