Sand preparation and recovery

In Magenta, Parola e Luraghi S.r.l. has an automatic system for the preparation and recovery of "green" moulding sands, consisting of a pan mixer and a cooler with an automatic GREEN SAND analyser and a mechanical sand recovery plant for chemically agglomerated sands (furanic and phenolic resins).

In an automatic cycle, after the shakeout stage, the sands are sent to the recovery system and then stored in dedicated silos pending reuse in the resin sand moulding site.
